Childcare refund

Do your children go to daycare? You may be able to get childcare allowance. This is a contribution to the costs of childcare. If desired, we can advise you and help you with the application for childcare allowance.

Child support

You usually do not have to apply for a child-related budget. You will automatically be notified if you are entitled to it according to the tax authorities. Do you not receive a message even though you think you are entitled to a child-related budget but you do not know how to apply for it? We can advise you and possibly help you with the application.

Rent allowance

Rent allowance is a contribution to the rental costs. Do you live in a rented house? And do you, or do you and your partner have together, less than €36,952 (single) or €73,904 (cohabiting) on 1 January 2024? Then you may receive rent allowance. It is not possible to answer 1-2-3 how high the surcharge is. There is no fixed income limit. Your assessment income will be taken into account.

Health care refund

Objection to the recovery of surcharges?

If you do not agree with the final assessment calculated by the tax authorities, there is the possibility to object to this in certain cases.

Objections

Objections can only be made if

  • You can prove that the incomes are wrong
  • You can prove that you do not have a joint household. If you live together, you are always an allowance partner and the joint incomes are added together for the calculation of allowances. However, this does not apply to your own children up to the age of 27 living at home.

More information about surcharges can be found at: www.belastingdienst.nl.
