Objection to the recovery of surcharges?
If you do not agree with the final assessment calculated by the tax authorities, there is the possibility to object to this in certain cases.
Objections
Objections can only be made if
- You can prove that the incomes are wrong
- You can prove that you do not have a joint household. If you live together, you are always an allowance partner and the joint incomes are added together for the calculation of allowances. However, this does not apply to your own children up to the age of 27 living at home.
More information about surcharges can be found at: www.belastingdienst.nl.
